Affordable Psychotherapy & Counselling in Hay-on-Wye
with Emily Hogan Turner
There are many reasons to seek therapy: anxiety, depression, when you're facing difficult challenges or transitions, or perhaps you simply have a sense that life could feel easier.
I offer an open, warm and supportive approach to helping you understand yourself better. I see therapy as something we work on together, a shared process, exploring your needs as an individual human being within the unique circumstances of your life.
I offer confidential sessions both in central Hay-on-Wye, and in Llanigon, which is just outside Hay.
I have experience working with clients in the mental health organisation MIND in Brecon and in Merthyr. I am also a trainee Psychotherapist working towards UKCP accreditation with the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute. I offer an affordable therapy service with fees at approximately half of standard rates.
Please see below for information about my fees and availability.
Costs and Availability
My rate is £35 per 50 minute session. Please get in touch if you feel you would benefit from therapy but can't afford that rate; I carry some low-cost places and may have one available.
I offer a free 30 minute introductory meeting to explore the possibility of working together. Therapy can be challenging as well as supportive, so it's important that you find a therapist that you feel comfortable with.
Sessions are usually weekly, at the same time each week, and the number of sessions can depend on many factors - you may have a specific issue that we can work on together in just a handful of sessions, or our relationship may be more open-ended.
I am currently fully booked, but have an actively managed waiting list, so please get in touch to join it.
Please email me at info@psychotherapyhay.co.uk or call/ msg on 07855 967399 to book an introductory meeting or with any questions you may have.
